Part-Time Property Manager
(3 days per week, 10 am - 2 pm in office,
answering phones 9 am - 6 pm those days)

We are currently interviewing for a part-time Property Manager to work three (3) days per week from 10 am to 2 pm during Monday through Saturday. Another Property Manager will work in the office the other three days you are not working. (If you want to work Sundays every week, that can be a fourth day). 

Although you will work the same three days each week, you need the flexibility to be able to cover other days for the other Property Manager as needed (appointments, vacation, etc.). And they should be able to do the same for you.

This is a one-person per shift job, which means there is no one else to cover the shift – just you. If you get sick or have things that just “come up” often, this position is not a good fit for you.

Office Hours 10 am to 2 pm (on site):

On your designated work days you will be expected to answer the phones 9 am to 6 pm and to be in the office during office hours. Typically, answering phone calls outside office hours adds 30-60 minutes per day except perhaps around the 1st of the month.

Occasionally as needed to accommodate customers, you may meet prospects/customers at the property outside regular office hours. All time spent on property, answering phones, running errands, or with customers or prospects is considered paid time and included in the daily pay rate.

 

Requirements:

  • Live in Jarrell close to property

  • Computer Skills - if you do not work with computers daily, please do not apply

  • Customer Service Skills - in person, on phone, by email

  • Very detailed with good organizational skills

  • Laptop, cell phone, and internet at home that will be used for work

  • Good grammar and spelling in correspondence

  • Problem-Solver - willing to own tasks until resolved

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

  • Must consent to background check and drug testing

  • Happy and smiling, honest and caring

Work Tasks:

  • Solving problems daily - people and property

  • Daily phone calls, texts, and emails to and from customers, including collecting past due amounts from customers

  • Answering phone calls, texts, and emails - communicating with customers about miscellaneous issues

  • Leasing storage units and parking spaces to customers

  • Keeping property grounds, storage units, and office very clean

    - sweeping and picking up trash weekly
    - picking up metal, screws, nails, etc. daily
    - killing weeds weekly
    - killing wasp nests
    - cleaning office and bathroom weekly

  • Driving errands - post office, bank, supplies

  • Special projects

Position Compensation:

This position starts on a 30 day trial basis and averages $18 per hour with a daily pay rate of $90 per shift. Pay period is monthly and runs the 16th through 15th. Checks are usually received by the 25th of each month.
